80's Rock Gems

An album that pops into my head from time to time is a pretty good one by the band "The Firm", their first album! Jimmy Page and Paul Rodgers....great stuff! In particular an old favorite of mine is the first song on the album....."Closer"! Great song!! You guys recall the album??

Got any other 80's gems?

I saw them in concert, seeing Jimmy Page live was an adolescent goal.

Although I was a purely into hard rock/metal in the 80s, I thought there was some great alternative pop type stuff that was awesome.
The 80s get dissed alot but there was some great stuff,,,,, XTC, Billy Idol, REM

I love this tune....Prof M knows the drummer

Dale Bozio on Drums.......Teri Bozio the Singer was a Hustler Centerfold.:hee:

The Tubes were a Great band.....Saw them in Oakland in 83.....but I consider them a product of the 70's more than the 80's you need to check out some of their older stuff....like "Mondo Bondage" and "Don't Touch me There"....thats great stuff
