S-B Shoot?

With all this golf talk, maybe we can get some guys together and do some shooting/sharing of firearms and have some fun. Any interest in this, anybody have some ideas of where to hold it? Not sure if I can make this happen at my club since its small, but just throwing it out there. We could do a pistol/rifle range or maybe a trap shoot?

I enjoy sporting clays. I don't have a shotgun though. I'd be in for a day of clays

Nice to see some interest, anybody have any ideas on a venue?

If its just a handful of guys, I could talk to the directors at my club (Ipswich) to see if I could get an exception to my 3 guests per member rule since you are all responsible gun owners.

I'd be in as well. My club has a 1 guest per month limit.

What about up in Georgetown, there is a state park up there with a public range. I went there with my father when I was a kid and we were at salisbury beach..

Rockport24 07-11-2013 09:32 AM

hmmm that's interesting...I've heard varying account of this range, let me look into it and I'll report back.

Ok so this public range does exist, just need a permit (which is free) but issued by the mass wildlife people, I will find out if you need to be a Mass resident, although it appears you all are...

I have 1 magazine that is legal in "the commonwealth" or I'd be all over this.

I'm in pistol, rifle, or especially shotgun for clays. Just bought a Charles Daly Pigeon Grade, sk & sk.

yeah and I would also check the laws for even bringing a pistol into Mass (i.e. does RI have reciprocity for permits?)

We'd love to have ya anyway Vic!
