Bluefish show on the Cape early!!!

Hi All the past several days we have been shore fishing the Cape Cod southern beaches and have beed doing pretty well.

Bill and I managed a couple dozen schoolie Bass day before yesterday. No keepers that day but did manage a couple of nice double headers. It was a beautiful day out on the water.

Last evening we headed down to the south side of the Cape to check out rumors of early bluefish showing up. The rumors are true. We got down a little later on the tide than we wanted so we did not hook up any, but guys who were there before us said the blue's were all over the place on the incoming tide. Saw a few laying on the beach that guys were taking home to eat and they were in the 7-9 lb range.

If you want to get out and have a ball Surf fishing for crazy chomping bluefish this is the time to do it!!! When the bite is on it is some of the best spring fishing you will get into down on the Cape.

We are heading down again in about an hour and try our luck today. I will post a report tonight or tomorrow AM as we may fish pretty late. I will also post some pictures from the past couple of days as well.

Our marina is almost ready to go so we may get the boat in by next weekend if all goes as planned.
