So a relatively straight forward project to sister a damaged floor joist turned interesting this evening. While removing the sheetrock from the ceiling of my garage I found....

Not sure if any of the other areas where the wire runs through the joist are damaged, but I'm assuming they are... going to be pulling down the rest of the board tomorrow to replace the run from the furthest chew point back to the panel...

i float some black oiled sunflower seeds
on top of a plastic lid in a bucket filled
with 4 " of water and a ramp to the edge.
SURPRISE ! when ya jump down there
for the relatively short swim.

Otherwise, when it's below freezing
the pistachio nut shell slid sideways
into the coil of the COPPER bait holder
on the standard trap works very well.
