Quahog recipe

1 Bushel of quahogs
2 links of Chorice sausage
1 large onion
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
1 spicy banana pepper
1 box of Bells turkey stuffing
2 tablespoons of Red Hot
1 Paprika

Steam quahogs, then dice to quarter inch or smaller. Remember that if the shell doesn't open discard the clam... Save the broth for the stuffing mix. Break the shells in half and clean with a sh#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g knife and hot water.

Dice onion and peppers, then saute.

Dice chorice sausage

Bells stuffing, follow instructions on the box, instead of using water use the broth from the quahogs. After mixed add the diced peppers, diced chorice and diced quahogs, mix thoroughly. This is where my family fights, my brother and I prefer to have 4 tablespoons or more of Red Hot and the other half want none, so we put 2 – tablespoons as a compromise. Add the mix to the shells, fill the shell and have it mound a little in the middle. Once all the shells are filled, sprinkle paprika on the top of the mix.

Cook at 350 degrees for 20 minutes unless you have big shells, then its around 25 minutes.

Enjoy,

ODM

I'll have to pass as this digestive system can't handle any one of those alone, but in combination...that's more than a 2 Pepsid AC remedy! Not even a lot of these would sooth the discomfort.:gu:

What's left?

Bushel of quahogs
Bells turkey stuffing
1 Paprika

BORING!

LOVE stuffies, especially with linguica or chorico.
If you have ever ventured in to The Back Eddy next to the Westport ramp try their stuffies. My favorite alltime.
