Prefer pedestal and rotary. Jaws to size 8/0.

Ross, I bought the largest at bass pro a few years back, didn't work out, not ballsy enough ,,,

Ross, if you're still looking, I have a sweet vice made out of a bit brace. It weighs about ten pounds and will hold any hook firmly, rotates too. Yours for the taking

I've broken a couple using them on big hooks.
If I was younger, I'd do one of these Vise grip ones for big hooks.

Ross, I use a Thompson "C" vise. Works fine for up to 6/0. I don't tie any bigger. Most of what I tie are teasers on up to 3/0 and tail hooks which are 5/0 and 6/0 VMC Siwash. This vise handles then fine.
