Big vs. Small

What fish(s) do you like bringing home to the table.

One or Two 28"-30 somethings or the big slob 40 "+ that was taken.

I realize that if the 40"+ slob was the ONLY or first one you got she's probably going to the grill and she should !

But if you have the option..........

I prefer the smallers because I think they taste better, are easier to clean and it is a lot of fun to let a big fish go. Granted sometimes the potential mortality is there and that becomes a judgement call but there are DEFINETLY a lot more 30" ish fish out there.

Not a poll, just wondering what everyone thinks.

Generally, if I want fish, I keep the first decent keeper I get, then on the odd chance I get my 50, I'm legal, I plan on releaseing the rest, but having only 1, not the first two on the rocks covers me incase I gut hook another keeper and decide to keep her

Rock,

Yea man. That is where the Two fish reg. is helping us.

A person's gotta eat but they also gotta land the big one ! :D

Good luck and I hope that scenario happens for you ( and me :D ) and EVERYONE else !

If whomever is on my boat (uh oh) wants to keep a fish it is usually the first keeper we catch. Then, unless it breaks 50 lbs, the next ones go back in the water.
