Clammer,

I know a guy who, everytime fishing comes up, when he asks me about what I am catching. He goes into a long winded story about how MUCH he has been out and how much he loves fishing and how awesome his boat is and blah blah blah blah.

Well recently it ended with:

"But I haven't landed any Bass yet but I get HUGE knockdowns while trolling."

So I ask:

"How fast are you trolling ?"

And he responds:

"About 5 kts."

I was out yesterday on a charter and guess what fish my charters wanted to catch....bluefish. I never had it so easy. Shot over to Potters Cove after I dropped them off and caught a small striper for dinner. From now on its chartersfor the new game fsih the mighty blue..:D

Charge more for a blue charter. Dems more dangerous and they can chop up gear..... :mad:

Posting at 0615! I was looking for yous guys at the boat ramp. Never mind the wind, shoulda left the boat at home and gone out front and got your feet wet, if you know what I mean :D

I knew they were in deep kimshe when WeeWee said he would be running the boat & Clammer would go diving for the lost anchor ...

I waved to them from the shore before I went out to catch bass last night, where they caught 40 blues for every bass, I got a dozen bass to a bluefish :btu:

One of my secret charter captains secrets is to only use expensive wooden plugs for the wiley bluefish. I like the $12.00 Gibs Poppers in yellow or purple. I know the blues are a bastard to catch but with the right lure and some luck you can get one of these finicky bastards.:laughs:
