This is a blessing for the Sox.

Knuckleballers like Wakefield actually do better on short rest. Neikro liked to go every 3rd day. His theory was that a well-rested knuckleballer had a tendency to over-throw, making the ball spin and come in straight on a line at 45 mph. And go out on a straight line but at a much higher velocity :D

So your saying he is ready ?
