Slipknot 10-14-2003 08:01 PM

Wee Wee nailed it! its made by our lovely friends who make the red gills...
slip, put some bigger hooks on it and let us know what you think.

new plug

Actually that's an eddystone tail.

Can you replace the tail when a blue trims it?

beachwalker 10-15-2003 10:39 AM

In a couple of weeks.....

What Blues ?

:D

Notaro 10-15-2003 11:22 AM

that is so cool. were they homemade or are there stores that have them? they look awesome to me.

Christian 10-15-2003 01:04 PM

i want 3? how big are they?

Nebe 10-15-2003 01:35 PM

Its called the eddystone eel plug. aparently it won best new lure in teh world or some strange award over in europe. From the looks of it, you can't replace hte tail, so you've gotta be careful of the bloo's.

Find a tackleshop that carries red-gill teasers and ask if they can get you some of the plugs..

Thats where I found them! I thought I'd make it a game and see who could find them first!

You can order them from teh US distributer me thinks....

rocketman 10-15-2003 05:09 PM

If you are a tackle maker it's most important that your lure catches fishermen.

Christian 10-15-2003 05:11 PM

no it isnt.

beachwalker 10-15-2003 05:41 PM

Just the idea of it. I'm going to make a few myself this Fall

Notaro 10-16-2003 07:43 AM

damn, those stuffs can be used for deep sea fishing for cods, pollocks, and haddocks.

Washrat 10-16-2003 08:56 AM

How many ounces?

Nebe 10-16-2003 12:18 PM

I was thinking that you could take a wooden plug like a darter and cut a notch out of the back... then gut a storm shad for the tail and somehow figure a way to adhere the tail to the plug... maybe with zap-a-gap
It would be ghetto, but it would probably work..
who knows....
