Roger

A true class act and I am going to miss him, even though he defected.

Another piece of my youth gone by the wayside.

He's a quitter and an excuse artist. He wants to leave baseball because of his family. That's the same type of crap he said when he sandbagged it in his last year in Boston and went Toronto. He spit the bit in this game.

I have no problem with Roger. He did what he had to do. I think he's a class guy. He's just not a team player...like Trot. Loyal to the cause. There's not many like him around anymore.

he was a great pitcher, and had a great career. Thanks for the memories rocketman.

Jimbo,

I have to disagree with ya that Roger is not a team player, he is probably one of most old school team first guys still wearing a uniform. He does whatever it takes for his team to win...he does whatever it takes to protect his guys when he is on that mound...actually, there aren't many more of guys like him around.

Around boston roger is not our favorite guy but to deny his talent, great carreer or place in baseball history is just ....

without offending anyone ignorance of the game and its History

I still hate him
