What gives with you guys ? Fat lady singing ? Not even close. There are plenty of fish around and there will be for another month. The blues will be in Buzzards bay for at least another 3 weeks and you'll be able to chase bass around for longer in the rivers . You can head to RI and catch fish into Dec . Stop it your making me depressed . I'll bet you were the same guys building the bunkers for Y2K. Get out there and fish and quit all the gloom and doom.

I packed my crap up a month ago. I thought the fall run means it is over once the first day of fall comes. :(

What gives ? Are you guys saying there is still more fishing to do ?

The fall run is over ONLY when the fish stop biting!!!
I caught three just-short fish last night in the canal.
Remember, that just because the air is cold doesn't man the water is that cold. The water temps will fall when it's cold, but ot takes time to get a temp drop that will drive the fish away.
With a weekend of moderate temps, the action should pick up a bit.
