Be kind to your reel week
 

This time of year its easy to just let the reel maintenance go cause the season is winding down. 'I'll do it over the winter" . I know if my reel messes up even just one time I get all pissed but week after week I just use it and abuse it. :)

Well , maintain it. Right now!! The reels need maintenance more than ever. Its been a long season by now with lots of fish and gunk abusing the reels. Take 10 minutes and make sure evrything is cool with your reel. This time of year , you just might hook into Moby #^&#^&#^&#^& and that's no time to have a reel problem cause its on its last leg maintenance wise.

A word to the wise , be kind to your reel...right now!

What are the good ways to winterize a Penn 9500SS for the winter? Is there a recommended oil/solution to wipe it down so it doesnt corrode over the winter?
