being deaf sucks,i got 30% left in one ear and im now 100% deaf in the other.reading lips half the time helps me out some.hearing aids suck as all they do is burn my ears from the heat they create half the time.mine is hereditary and work related tho,wear plugs and ear protectors to the max db level you can afford.losing your hearing is no joke guys.

can't spel,can't see, can't hear, road kill lookin better al the time an on top o that my boots leak...snows comin,an my joints ache. an my wife don't like s** no more:bc:

yep is true man,loud stuff will getcha,now that no sex chits a killer,i seen growed men die from no nookie.i tolt mine she quits im tradin in for 2 20 year olds an a bottle a new nitro tabs,she wernt too happy BUT it worked !,my noggin still sore from that fry pan tho'....

Had an ear infection and ended up taking a hearing test. I thought Doc was looking for a new car when she suggested I get fitted for hearing aid at 1200 smackers an ear.

Took the test and right ear heard all but last tone.
Took the test and NOT A FRIGGING thing with left ear.

Remind me not to stay in fox hole in front of 8 inch self propelled howizters anymore.

They wanted to wire my right ear to my left so I could hear from both sides. Told me I shouldn't be near anything noisy without ear plugs and ear muffs. I just looked at the Doctor and his audiologist, got up walked out of the office, never got a bill or anything.


The one good thing about being almost deaf is you always have an excuse for ignoring people. I'm sorry if I can't see you I can't hear you.
