Lami # 1204 vs GSB 120 L comparison ???
 

I know its a little early but I'm deciding what rod I should add this winter. I already have one # 1204. Would the 120 L handle a bunker head and 4 onces well ? Does the 120 L cast the lighter stuff (1 - 11/2 oz ) as well as the # 1204 ?

not a bait rod. don't even try. unless the 120 is alot stiffer. my 11 footer has troble with plugs over 2 oz.(poppers) great bombers, light plug, metels to 4oz.there too light to pop a big popper.

I don't think it will handle 4 OZ plus a bunker head. No it won't cast the light stuff as well as a 1204. It will cast 2 1/2 to 5 better than the 1204. For 4 OZ and a bunker head , try the 120 1 M. That won't throw lighter stuff at all though. You really need two rods to throw light stuff and chuck bait.

Try the lami s-glass,,, it is pretty stout,,, i built both mediums and heavy's i like it better than graphite
