air brush
Rich L from SOL helped me out with some good advice on a airbrush. He recommended the BADGER # 360 which changes from a top feed to a bottom feed by rotating the head portion. I"M VERY HAPPY WITH IT.
Check it out on Dixieart.com. They had the best prices. It cost about $ 95.00 with the braided hose. |
I've got a Paashe VL and an Iwata BCS Eclipse.
If I were going to have only one brush, it would be the Iwata. It does it all. $79.95 incl. acces. and free shipping from Dixieart.com Bernzy |
If your buying a compressor don't buy a airbrush compressor. They run constantly and give you a headache. Your better off going with a 4 gallon tank compressor from Sears or somewhere else. The 4 gallon compressors go for around $ 200.00. So does a better grade air brush compressor.

Thanks for all the info. I couldn't resist. I just ordered up the Badger 360 from Dizie Art.
I plan on running it off my shop compressor (a little pancake comp). I assume I just need an inline water trap. thx |
I have the badger 360 and am very happy with it. It will run very nicely on the pancake compressor.

check your local paper. Michaels the craft shop has some 40% off coupons for any 1 item in there this week. Would come in handy for a brush or compressor if you were buying it there. I also use a badger.
