Newport Blackfish

Took the AM off to fish aboard a friends boat with my father and one other guy.. had a good day deep off newport (Deep Clammer.... go deep) fish from shorts- 11/12lbs havent heard what the biggest weighed yet, our scale on the boat sucked... Nice run of fish though, we must have kept 12 or so... released maybe 50-60 nice fish in 5 hours... watched some serious shananigans as people were anchoring all over eachother... bugs me b/c there are lots of spots out there and often its the fisherman not the spot... no need to crowd people... at least one of the guys who was ontop of another guy got snagged and had to cut it off... there is some justice....

typical moron mentality
they don't know any spots
christ they probably don't even have charts
they just go where the boats are

Our fav. was pull up, drop anchor and then fish before the anchor had come tight, they had scouted a spot etc.. Likwid you got it right... morons... but entertaining to watch....
at least we lit em up and out fished all of em :D :D :D
