I know that this isn't striper related but it's fish. Finally have some free time and word has it that there are some mackeral down at the ditch. I'm not looking for any secret spots or tactics only some nut and bolts about gear and methods one could use to harass these guys. ty

I spent many a day as a kid fishin macks down the east end jetty's. All silver mack jigs (some call'em x-mas tree jigs) with a 3 or 4 oz diamond works killa. Try jiggin different depts NOT reaching bottem.9' to11'w/#20 will get the distance. they're there and should remain through Thanksgiving
