Is there any surf use for this reel--or is it a boat reel? Thanks for any help.:)

I read an article where it mentioned it was used for both and compared to the Penn 975.. of course the penn was mentioned as the one perfered.. he is a consultant to penn...

just do a find for 7500..

It's basically the 7000 (4.1:1) with a higher gear ratio 7500 (5.3:1)

The 7500 is a very good surf reel. The 7500 C3CT is an awesome surf.I am not partial to levelwinds.

i use it as a canal rig

i use both the 7000c3 and the 7500c3 in the surf. they are both great reels in the suds.
