What Are You Thankful For????
 

As it relates to fishing and the season that just passed.....what are you thankful for???? :confused: I am thankful for many things fishing related......thankful my Jeep CJ-7 made it all season long, back and forth to the Cape without any major mechanical breakdowns......thankful the winter finally abated in June :hihi: :laugha:.....thankful for all the great people I had an opportunity to fish with this season:kewl:......thankful for all the great fish I caught this season:drool:.....thankful that I did not catch the record breaking striped bass yet because I do not yet own my own house to put it on the wall forever:doh:.....and I am thankful that my buddy Joe caught my brand new conventional rod and reel combo before that fish took the bait and almost dragged it into the deep blue sea when I had my back turned (thanks Joe).....thankful the season ended when it did because I was getting darned tired of cleaning all my stuff off every other day!:ss:

thankful for my parent's and all the things the do for me .... like buy me a car:) and ketting nice fish and other stuff like more fish and more rods and turkey and gravy.

im thankful that all the rods i broke this season belonged to me, and that im thankful for next season when i catch my first 40 pounder.

i am thankful for joining SB. i have learned a lot from this site and from some of you. and i am applying them in the game. and i learned that fishing is about enjoyment. so i have no needs to get hasty with my goals. and i thank for my family, my kung-fu schools, and my friends and triads.:laughs:

Thankful for Discovering Striper Fishing this year. Thankful for catching my 1st keeper on just my second time out ( granted it was only 29" but it was enough to start the addiction). Thankful for the patience my wife had. I fished more this year than in my prior 11 years of marriage combined. Also thankful for all of the people who have helped me with this sport over the year.

Next year I'll be thankful for landing my 1st over 30#er;)

I'm thankful that a beautiful 36" striped bass was kind enough to slam my plug so that I can share her with my family in some fish chowder with our Thanksgiving dinner.

Thankful for getting back into fishing and meeting up with you buncha fanatical fisherpersons !!
Thanks to my Dad who showed me how it was done long ago.

Thankful for a close healty family and good friends. Everything else is gravy.

That I learned the real meaning of that word and show it every day and to say Thank You every nite for the gifts that have been so freely given me in all aspects of my life.

Beetle, we had Joe Ciampa (sp) at the kids meeting the other day, he showed us some pics of the old MSBA days with your dad as president. Some great memories there...

My wife, my two beautiful daughters and living in the greatest country in the world. Oh yeah, living on Cape Cod ain't to bad either.:btu:

Oh yeahhhh....I forgot one other fishing related thing that I am thankful for....I bet you all know what it is....FishChick.....she is awesome and a real trooper out there fishing in all conditions like a real pro...she always makes me proud when she is out there fishing!!!!:uhuh: Sorry guys...she is all mine but she will be on display at all MSBA meetings as she is the clubs Derby Chairperson!!!! :drool: :love: :wavey:

oh yeah !

Im thankful my parents spent some time alone 43 years ago and along came me . Im thankful my wife and I had 2 times together and along came Alexis and Jessica .

In other words Im thankful for and to my family and friends .

Im also glad God made fish .

Geesh I thought it was supposed to be fishing related...Now I look like a dink.

Of Course I'm thankful for My 2 great Kids and Wife (She has the Patience of a saint). My health and My friends.

In keeping with the thread, I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to dip a line more than once this year, but moreso thankful for a loving, understanding wife and two great daughters who brought me back from somewhere I didn't want to be and completed me. ILY!

My wife...she lets fish like a moe-foe!

I am thankful for my family and friends, especialy my wife and two kids. I am also glad that everyone in my family is healthy.

I am thankful for all this fish I caught this season, shorts to my career largest.
I am thankful for the new friends I have made in the fishing community.
I am thankful for this site.
I am thankful I am an American and can enjoy my freedom and have all the luxuries I am able to earn.
I am thankful to have family who love and tolerate me.
I am thankful I know what it means to be grateful.
