Talkin bout mounts in another thread, how nice is it to have qaulity pics?
Being that I spend most of the time on the water alone it is hard to get good pics. I've been setting my cambra on the console, it works ok with smaller fish but rarely the whole picture with larger fish. With my boat being 18'9", the bucket seat or leaning post often blocks the the fish. I was thinking of adding something to the RAM mounting bracket. Any other ideas on mounting a cambra on the a rail?? |

I have the same problem, Goose. Nobody wants to fish with me!
Too early for the whimps! Let me know if you come up with a solution. |
Someone makes a rail mount for cameras. I saw them recently but can't remember where. It's just a two piece clamp with the standard 1/4"-20 threaded screw that fit's the base of cameras and camcorders. Sorry, wish my brain wasn't fried and I could recall where I saw it. I know at the time I was thinking of getting one.:smash:

Call me Goose, I'll come along to "take a few snaps". I might have to catch a few myself along the way, it's my standard picture taking few you know hehe.

I saw that same mount in I want to say Boater's World... is that a catalog.
Nothing I've ever ordered from, but I get one every year. It was a rail mount. |
