Not sure if Im old enough to Grump...But here it goes!

Well today, I wake up to my one daughter full of red blotches, I immediatly call the Dr. the Dr. tells me to bring her in...Ok I take her to the Dr..She has hives, BADLY! Reaction from her antibiotic..Ok I can deal with this...Well since I was out we needed stamps, soooo I go to the post office and go in for stamps...

I come out of the post office to see this man backing INTO my car!:af:

I start shacking my head, he proceeds to roll down his window and ask me what my problem was...:af:

I looked at him and said...You just hit my car...Note I am not angry about this, just wish people would pay more attention!

He proceeds to ARGUE with me that he did not hit my car (as my car rocks back to its original spot from him hitting it)

I looked at him and said I just watched you hit my car!!!

:smash: :smash:

Needless to say it didnt do any damage, so I just told him its ok...no damage done, put my daughter in the car and left....

:af: :af:

Thank God I was not in a crappy mood:laughs: I would have really laid into him:happy:

fishweewee 12-11-2003 07:29 PM

MrsSFrances 12-11-2003 07:37 PM

Um, while I feel for your grumpage......didn't I read somehwhere that your daughter has/had the flu? And if so, why antibiotics?

If I'm wrong about the flu, and it was something else, please forgive me and I"ll go back to my corner cowering....;).

But antibiotics won't do chit for the flu or a cold, and in fact, can hurt the situation....and if all that's true, ya ought to get another doctor..........

Just an observation..........

MrsSFrances 12-11-2003 07:51 PM

shes on antibiotics for an ear infection along with the flu...there is nothing they can do for the flu...

MrsSFrances 12-11-2003 07:53 PM

no need to go back to your corner...lol..she does have the flu...but on top of that she also has an ear infection...thats the reason for the antibiotics...

they just got hit with a double whammy:(

poor kids, we have twins and a son who i now think has the flu also...

BigFish 12-12-2003 11:16 AM

Some of these old bastards need a good beatin' sometimes, they think they can do no wrong if they drive two miles an hour and back up without using their mirrors! Next time let him go...then call him in for hit and run!:laugha:

Jimbo 12-12-2003 11:38 AM

You are a better [wo]man than I, MrsS. Nothing disturbs me more than people who are careless enough drivers to practically make it a habit of dinging and lightly bumping other people's cars, whether it's a moving vehicle or just opening a car door. The damage isn't enough to warrant getting insurance companies involved, but in the end, I'm the one left with a scratch or their paint on my car; a reminder forever of their careless driving and they drive off as though nothing happened. I'm not vengeful enough to return the damage in some way so "we're even,", but I verbally let them know my anger then I hock a juicy one on their windshield.

BigFish 12-12-2003 11:51 AM

Ya gotta love h#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&' a chunky lugie on some &%#*&'s windshield!:kewl:

Billybob 12-12-2003 01:08 PM

MrsSFrances 12-12-2003 05:18 PM

Ok Mr. Billybob...Geez I am 27...but I guess thats not old enough...:p

Oh well...I am still grumpin though:happy:

I'll just grump else where;)

:laughs:

'cause your the guy doing the hitting... The only thing your volvo hasn't hit is the lottery

that was a good one John...:laughs:

Well Jimbo, I could feel the rage rising through my body...As I watched this guy back into my car, but I refused to get angry in front of my daughter...:af:

I know people have to get around...but when you are getting up there in years...and your vision is not so good, and amoung many other things you should just not drive...

I know its hard to give up, I have a grandfather who is the same way, he is a dangerous driver.... scares me to even ride with him...and god..dont tell him that he's driving badly:smash:

he will blast you like a 21 gun salute:scream2:

Billybob 12-12-2003 09:46 PM

Naw Mrs S, I think your grumpable, haven't seen any reel specs set up on that yet.
I think ya did the right thing - sometimes ya have too cut the oldguys some slack, along as there's no damage done - crap we'll all be there some day. You did well.
I got the inverse problem.
Can you believe this little maniac was throwin snowballs "towards" the old matron witch's house across across the street.
If we could all just be middle aged the world would be a wonder ful place - Gotta take your lumps gettin there, then on the backside too

I can't remember if it was CapeSams or BM, but I think ya gotta be 40 to unload grumpage in here
You got long way to go

Oh yeah, rules for grumpage
No :D :) ;) :p :laughs:  in here

I think we can let it slide cuz you're new, but CapeSams is ruler here so it's up to him

JohnR 12-13-2003 12:17 PM

I'm not 40 but I am a very high mileage 35 (and seeing that I started this site) :af: ;)

MrsSFrances 12-13-2003 01:21 PM

ok since im not old enough, i wont grump here anymore...BUT, i'll have you know the day I hit 40...these boards will be on fire with my grumpage over the past years:af::laughs:

JohnR 12-13-2003 01:24 PM

I think the "40" number is a little misleading. Just because Capesams cut his age in half to come up with that number doesn't mean it's a hard number for everyone else to follow - just my opinion

MrsSFrances 12-13-2003 01:27 PM

haha...i'll be bursting at the seams buy the time im 40. i'll be full of grumpage...

:laughs: :laughs:

opps i mean

:af: :af:

MrsSFrances 12-13-2003 11:37 PM

Tagger, im mean but not that mean...:laughs:

aw cal i knew you where just messing around;)

i have never had an accident, until last year...I used to be a school bus driver in philadelphia and was subbing for a driver..and ofcourse my wonderful boss:af: didnt give me any directions for the route, he told me to get a kid to direct me:whackin: yeah ok riiightttt....needless to say i went the wrong way, and as i was turning a corner, trying to avoid the traffic on the other side, i side swiped a car parked...i was sooooo friggin:af: ....first accident in my life time that was my fault and no less in a darn bus with a load of kids...needless to say i said a few choice words:eek: and the kids laughed at me, i apologized, and they said its ok "busdriver lady" we hear that all the time:eek: ....that was a bad day....:lossinit:
