The Fortier 30

Hi Guys-

Looking for opinions on the 30' Fortier...

I have spend days on a 33 Fortier and found them to be only so-so, especially in a following sea; they are all over the place.

But, I have heard somewhere that the 30' Fortier is better than the 33'. Can anyone confirm this for me? I have also fished the 26 which is a pretty decent boat, but still small. I read where the 30 and the 33 are being built with twin Volvo diesels. Does anyone find it odd that twins are being built into a downeast style boat? Maybe this is one way of correcting negative sea handling capabilities? Personally, a reliable single diesel that burns 4-8 gallons per hour is much more attractive to me.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has spent time on a 30 or knows someone who owns one.

Many Thanks, Hooper
