I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried to surf fish for cod. I know people catch them by accident in the early spring in scituate and hull:eek: If you have fished for them for them what do you use

i have. over in quincy. seaworms. spring is best. small to keeper size fish.

Christian's right , Seaworms the best bait, clams a close second. Night time is best.

*groans* it's going to be a murder for me. i like to fish during the daytime. codfather, this winter really blows us off. wait for the calm condition to fish for cods.

christain, would you use a gob or a apporiate cut clams for cods?
