winter reel cleaning

it's that time of year again. time to clean, oil, and prep your reels for next season. i posted a link to a large list of reel schematics in the FAQ forum in case you need to see how to turn the pile of parts back into a reel.

And don't forget the Non-Chlorinated Brake Parts Cleaner--the green can. This stuff will clean bearings like nothing else.

But it will get you high as a kite if you don't ventilate.

Hmmm - might be time to consider a reel party
