Cortland Spectron

I have tried the cabela's ripcord si braid. It was 40 lb test a 10lb. mono diameter. It constantly broke during my cast. The low diameter i feel caused it to wrap under itself. I just read the recent post on the cortland spectron and it has a similar low diameter. I was wondering if amybody has experianced any similar problems with this type of line before i go purchase some?
Thanks inadvance,

Saltheart turned me on to this line as I made the switch from spinning to conventional. Believe me I have had my share of explosions. I have broken some leaders, but I haven't had any trouble with the line breaking off on the cast. Maybe someone else has had a different experience, but I can't say enough good things. Good Luck, see you on the Beach <img src="/Images/Happy_Face.gif"><!--e1-->

Are you referring to the Cabelas Ripcord or the Cortland Spectron. Thanks Derek.

Fishpart is talking about Spectron. I'm sure he has never tried Rip Cord.

Duh? Now where was Fishpart's reply hiding while I typed mine?
