abu 7000
 

I just purchased a new custom rod that has a lot of the color red on it. I was planning on matching it with the Abu Ambassadeur 7000. Are all these red or are they available in different colors. Any placesw that I could get a RED one. Any info will be greatly appreciated, Derek.

I think Abu discontinued the old 7000, but you may be able to advertise for a used one. If color is that important, you can also buy one of the new 7000C's and see if Buckos has some spare red plates in stock--the swap is very easy.

I don't know the new Abu color schemes, they used to have the red 7000, the bronze 7000C3 and the black Big Game. That was 2 or 3 years ago and I think they changed.

There is a <!--http--><a href="http://striped-bass.com/Images/a7000csa.jpg" target="_blank">7000CS Pro Rocket </a><!--url--> model sold outside of the US. I am trying to find out info on it for myself... I'll let you know if I come up with anything. It's blood red and supposedly pretty slick.... If I can't find anything on it, I'll be trying to modify my current 7000....
