Striped Bass off Coast of N.C.
 

I know that most people who read this are Northeastern fisherman, (so am I) but I've been hearing some good things
about striper fishing in N.C. this time of year, especially off Cape
Lookout? Does anybody reading this fish down there? Any reports
of good fishing? I go down there occasionally, and wouldn't mind
hearing what's happening down there.

There is a vibrant charter fishery for stripers right now, in the Sound. Remember if you're 3 miles out (in the EEZ) you can't fish for or keep incidental catches of stripers. Closer in shore subject to NC fisheries regs.

OBX fishing has been great since xmas thru this week, especially at oregon inlet, lots o fish taken from shore and boat
