Would you use the off center method to turn a plug like the CREEK CHUB -"Spin Deepster" or just be able to turn on a straight blank? THANKS.:) |
No ...Just plugit..I don't have one ,but that plug looks round to me.. The thing with turning wood everything is always round, unless modified on a beltsander or something later..Changing the centers in mid turn and you can throw round out of wack.See how the Tadpole is straight on the back and has a belly hanging below..Thats what I was trying to do .You can also go side to side..I got a P.A. Surfer plug that is extreme off center turning .. I'll take pic and post later..No Duplicator with this kind of work so its slower ..
|
THANKS, looking forward to the pic post! :D
