Waiting for some hardware to finish them off. Top one is hand carved. Middle is sort of a needle/pikie thing and the bottom is a tradidional needle.

Nice work! What kind of lippage are you gonna use on the top one? Looks kinda like a Cotton Cordel plug I have that has a deep diving lip. Might work well on that plug. That color scheme will work well for you.

diving lip
Flaptail, I had been thinking of some sort of diving lip. Either cutting something from some lexan or maybe adapting a colorado or idiana blade. Try to match the angle/size on one of the deep diving plugs I have. Ideally, if I can find some sheet metal, I'd cut some different sizes and see what does best.

the top one would KILL even without a lip.

I think I know where that top one is headed. Since my earlier post, I've decided it woulf be "fun" to try a series of them from no lip to several with different lips. I just need to figure out how to speed up the process of creating the general shape.

Mmmm I'd eat 'em!
