I especially like the 2nd one down in the top photo. How are you getting the straight lines below the cris-cros scale pattern?

I actually have been experimenting with different screens for the scales. 3 or 4 different onion bags and other screens I had laying around. I have found that you get the best scales with an air brush. The cans tend to throw too much paint. Thanks for the compliment.

What are you using for Lips? I have the larger Danny and Pikie lips from NJTackle, but they are a bit small for my large goo-goo eye types...

I have been buying the lips from Scott at #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&.com. Small lips ar .70 each large are .80. He has real nice stuff.

Im still trying to figure out how you got the pattern on the bottom one. There is no screen that lookslike that. Very nice.

Salty has the larger Pikie style lips, he uses them on his large 2.5 oz round nose swimmers,& they work very well on the larger plugs.

Ok, the bottom plug scales is from an onion bag that I have had for a long time. I'm not sure that they are around anymore.
I'll take a pick of the mesh tonight and post it tomorrow

All the right colors too! Which begs the question.."how come I still have not yet painted my plugs those colors?" :hidin:
