North Shore Action

It looks like this season has the makings of an incredible year. Never has there been this many big fish taken inshore this early in the season on Cape Ann.

Tons of bait all over with lots of action taken from the shore. Could that elusive record breaker be out there this year?

Welcome aboard Bigswell. That area you live in is HUGE for big fish as you have excellent structure up there to fish. All those ledges are like Rhody and So Shore Mass but you have cooler waters when late July and August roll around. Makes a big difference...

Good luck...

They are here...Cold water does not bother some of these fish.

Cooler water is a good thing. When we get all the hot stuff south of the cape and in even B-harbor, the fish will get lethargic and slow the feed - not as much of an issue with the cooler waters off Cape Ann...
