Thru-wire

This may sound kinda stupid.

When I form the eye loop for the front of the plug should I twist the ends around one another before inserting it into the plug?

I put together some without doing this but epoxied the hole good.

Seems solid, I could'nt pull it apart.:smash:

No need to twist the wire. A fish will open straighten your snap before pulling the wire out of the head of the plug

Thanks for the reply. I have yet to catch a striper big enough to inflict that kind of damage. Once had a big bloofish bust a swivel.

Just would hate to catch a decent fish with a plug I made and have it fail. I hate winter, too much time to sit around and think.
