Need suggestions for band saw
 

Looking to add a 14" bandsaw to my growing arsenal. Never owned one though, so I'm looking for some help in finding a good tool at a reasonable price. So far the Jet looks the best to me, but I'd rather not have to drop that much money. Any suggestions? Anyone know of any sales? Thanks!

I have a delta 14" saw, that I have used almost daily for 17yrs.
I do know that the rubber on the lower wheel is in need of replacing,, but other than that, I have never had a problem with it. Even at that, I can't really say it is a problem, more like normal wear and tear.
A beautiful piece of equipment.

How much do you want to spend?

Like CMP said, the 14" Delta is a great bandsaw for the money, atleast the old ones are, not so sure about the newer ones made in china.

New ones in China now?? What a shame. She really is a beautiful piece of equipment.
I have a 30yr old Delta table saw too. S'pose they don't make them anymore either, huh.
