Night Light
 

I just picked up a Petzyl Tikka Plus Headlamp w/ different colored lenses. Was wondering which would be the best to use so as to not spook the fish. I've got Red, Green, and clear.

Gonna give some late night fishing a try this year.

red it wont spook the fish and anyone trying to find wont be able to see your red light from any distance away . green is Ok too but red is best . thats why the military uses it on their flashlights . IF YOU CAN BE SEEN YOU CAN BE KILLED

Red is what I was thinking. We used to use that for Darken Ship when I was in the navy.

see you knew but was just testing us . right ? I prefer no light at all but red is the right one . fish wont see it , the enemy wont see it , other fishers wont see it and it wont mess up your night vision .

Ahhh you caught me and you passed with flying colors.

I need some kind of light though. I'm not exactly slight of foot. I tried it without one last year and almost friggin killed myself.
