Maine fishing

I am going up to Maine for the weekend. Will be staying in the Portland area. anyone know how the fishing is up there and what size fish should i expect to catch, if any. Names of locations, bait, lures, tides, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Derek

Gusto, er a Derek!!! <img src="/Images/Tounge_Wink_Face.gif"><!--e5--> My Maine fishing experience would put you at Camp Ellis (south of OOB). There is a jetty that runs along the ne side of the Saco River. Many people fish that jetty and do fair. I would recommend the sandy area between the start of the jetty and the Lobsterman's commercial pier. Moving tide either way... Good with bucktails/teasers, swimming plugs and if at night, eels. Alot of decent fish come out of that spot and not many bait shops talk about it....

Good luck
