Any Good Leader Storage Ideas????

Always looking for a better way to store my leaders. Right now I use the small ziplock bags. Anybody got a better mousetrap than the one I use now? Your comments would be appreciated.:kewl:

I got one 2 years ago over at the Sportsmen's Den in Q-Town that is similar except the one I ended up getting has the slide style zip-locks rather than just ziplock seals. works pretty good. I believe I have larger sized pockets which I feel reduces coil memory being put into my leaders as I don't have to coil them as small/ tight.

I tie mine on the fly.... but someone posted a while back that they use a CD wallet.

Use all plastic CD sleeves from Staples. I'll bring one tonight.

I store my leader using a 36 inches styrofoam box and rubebr bands to attach to the hooks if they are out of reach. as for plug leaders, i try to keep them straight and hang the swivels on a stick.

CD wallet here... tucks inside my waders very nicely... label the compartments with a sharpie.. I mark 30lb, 50lb etc... helps at night...

Go with Notaro idea. sound the best. I have stored mine using a peice of 1 inch pvc tubing with notches cut in it for the hook end and used velco to wrap the ends. Works well- but i might want to try Notaro idea. Iron man Mike might have the best ideas I heard he ties between 200-500 leaders in the off season in prep for the striper seaason. He is one dedicated fisherman- I wish he would write a book. We could all use some help.

little ziplocks like 3x5's in a bigger bag in the back of the plug bag.I usually have several in 30-50# test with a few 65# an snelled eel hooks. in there also some swivels an snapsin a seperate bag.the bigger(like a freezer bag) I find don't get dropped as often as a wallet type thing. It seems I am becoming more an more of a clutz. Plus it sits flat in the back of the bag agiasnt my back.
