Gluvit

Has anybody used a product called Gluvit sealer. I thought I could use it prior to painting the deck to seal some tiny stress cracks. It's a two part epoxy. Can epoxy be used over gel coat? Thanks!!

I've used West System or 5200 to fill glass/gelcoat cracks and whatnot on decks of various boats.

Can't say I've ever used Gluvit.

I had a 1972 22' Mako with soft spots in the decks. I drilled about 100 holes and filles it with Gluvit than filled the holes and painted it with tan non skid truck bed paint. (Two Part)

I saw the boat last fall and it looked great (2 years Later)

You need to sand and wipe it before you paint it.

I imagine that you painted the entire deck with gluvit as well as the holes? Did it have the consistency of paint or was it more like a paste?

I injected it into the holes.
