I saw him speak @ the PI Surcasters Fundraiser on Saturday. What an interesting guy. You could feel the passion he had for surf fishing as he talked. He did a couple of great presentations, Targeting Trophy Stripers and Ten Mistakes Surfcasters make and a Q&A session. I brought my son along and he was mesmerized by the pics of some of his Big Stripers. All in All a very informative and enjoyable afternoon.

Anyone else from here attend?

I did not attend but I just finished Eastern Tides I thought it was well written and a great book. I am now starting to read Striper Surf and it is great so far, it is more of a how to than a story. He is definetly an interesting character with tons of knowledge.
