ever driven or walked by a spot and you didnt have your pole with you and the fish were blitzing?

It happened to me while I was driving with my dad and two of my uncles to play golf, we were driving near cliffs that lead down to the ocean and I could see birds working, I told my pops to stop and I just watched them for a few minutes they were small maybe 4 to 6 pounds but it probaly would of still been fun.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

It's happened to me a million time and I have a rod in my truck about 75% of the time from April to November. Go figure!?

when I force myself to check out a spot on a moon low without my gear so I can study a spot :)

Happened last year behind Aunt Carries in Gansett. I was chowing on clamcakes with my family and over the treetops I saw birds swarming. I ran through the woods and down a path and I could see a huge school of blues slamming the bait. Nothin I could do but watch.....

After 3 days of fishing at the Race, we caught just a few schoolies and some blues. Later that Saturday night, with my family and my wife's family, we went down to the water. I purposed to my girlfriend, at that time, and then the water erupted with bluefish. No rod and only one guy fishing. Omen or a curse......I still haven't figured that out yet! :smash:
