need advice, difference between abu level winds
 

looking at the 6500 c3 ct mag elite..

and the 6600 c5 mag..

whats the difference between them..

i could not find a lot of specs and reviews on either..

is there a new hot 6500 series mag abu that is supposed to be nearly crash proof.. (oops i mean foolproof)

my local surf shop said she had a new one coming in that was easy to cast and reliable..

6500CT Mag is a non levelwind , 6500CSMag is a levelwind. In addition to no levelwind , the CT has a speed bushing where the gear for the levelwind model would go. which engages the inner bearing race . net effect is that the CT will cast much further in the hand sof an expert.
