Tip-Top Size Conversion

Hi Guys - Im not building - just repairing a rod. My local shop doesnt have a tip top to fit my rod so I was going to order one online. However I can't figure out the size conversion. The sizes that they list run like this 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5 etc...

http://www.eangler.com/proshop/produ...=5912&dept_id=

The inside diameter of the tip top needs to be 3.5mm - what size would that be?

Thanks in advance
Dave

those numbers are in 64th's of an inch. You need a 9 (64ths) =
9/64 x 25.4 = 3.57mm

Best to bring it somewhere to fit it, sometimes the sizes aren't true. You can get the 10 to be safe and use some thread over the blank. ;)

Good luck
