Looks like it is going to be alittle harder to fish the Hoyoke Dam on the SH Side. Homeland Sec has made it illegal to fish under any bridges not sure if there is going to any type of buffer zone and what do they mean by under it. THomT

I may be mistaken Thom, but the way I understood it, was that it was illegal for boats to fish under bridges. Either way could put a serious damper on the spring run.

I'm wondering about that also. I set up a drift and continue to fish as I float under Interstate 91. Is this prohibited, or is it just anchoring up while under a bridge. We are gonna lose a lot of structure if you can't drift and cast to bridges.

I am pretty sure it was refering to anchoring. I read a similar post on another site, and that seemed to be what I got from it.
