It takes 24 hours for a person to get infected with lyme disese.As long as you remove the tick right away you should be ok.

Yeah, from what I read, they don't inject their saliva until they get a pool of blood formed under the skin. The thing was on me for maybe 20-30 minutes, tops.

I got the vaccine last year. One shot a month for 3 months. I'm coverred for 5 or 10 years. You should be careful cause ticks carry other diseases besides Lymes disease.
