I was out in the marsh in back of my house, and the resident Osprey is back.
She must have come back yesterday I have been checking the nest everyday?:D

those little osprey are very tasty but you have to shoot the mother to get to them.:D
Still I think it is hard to beat the plover for taste:p

Keep an eye on what they are eating. They like Bass almost as much as us do! You will know when the schoolies are about cause they will be munching out on them.

I saw a osprey pull a sub legal striper out of the river one day right in front of me. I had cast over the spot he pulled it from several times and figured there were no fish around... then poof this bird comes screaming down and nails a striper...

If you notice they fly with the fish's head pointing forward so that they are more aerodynamic.

Osprey are cool

I took this shot though a telescope in texas:D
