Message from Chris (former MGR of Woodworkers Warehouse)
Let me say that I have nothing to do with any part of the new shop just giving options for guys to buy from.


Fellow Woodworkers:

It's been a long time since I had any news to share with you. While you
may not think this news is great, you've got to admit it's much better
than the last news I e-mailed to you. You probably remember that my
last e-mails dealt with the closing of Woodworkers Warehouse. Believe
me, I was just as sad to relay that news as you were to receive it;
however, I'm not so sad anymore.

On January 16, 2004, we finished closing all of the Woodworkers stores
in the country. Luckily, by January 17, 2004, I was asked to manage a
new tool store located in Hyannis. Needless to say, I was psyched by
the idea of opening a new store that would meet the needs of my
Woodworkers Warehouse friends. So, on January 30, 2004, we opened
Western Tool Supply at the Airport Rotary in Hyannis (this is the
location of the old Hyannis Woodworkers Warehouse).

Let me give you just a little background on Western Tool Supply. This
is a retail chain that's been doing business on the West Coast for 22
years. There are approximately 36 stores in Oregon, Washington,
California, Montana, Idaho, and Utah. At this point, Western Tool
Supply has opened 13 stores in the New England area (this is currently
the only one in Massachusetts), most in former Woodworkers Warehouse
locations.

While we still don't have everything in stock yet, I'm thrilled with
what we have to offer. Western Tool Supply is a little different than
Woodworkers Warehouse was -- Western Tool is geared more toward the
contractor, so you'll find a much larger selection of quality hand
tools, better quality sandpaper and saw blades, bigger and better
compressors, etc. We even carry ladders here!

But what excites me even more is that I can special order just about
anything my customers need right from this store without having to go
through the corporate office! This means that I can get these orders in
your hands much quicker and usually for less money than I could before.
In fact, I can order anything from parts and accessories to tools and
machinery!

The philosophy of the company is quite simple -- "We are dedicated to
providing outstanding service to our customers and doing whatever it
takes to make them happy and keep them coming back!". Having dealt with
me in the past, you're probably aware that this has always been my
philosophy also, and that's one reason I'm so excited about getting up
and coming to work every day.

I'd love the opportunity to serve each of you again, and I look forward
to seeing all of you. Please feel free to stop in and see us. We are
located at 411 Barnstable Road, Hyannis, MA 02601. Our hours are Monday
thru Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM (we're
closed on Sundays). If you can't make it to the store, please feel free

may even be able to work out delivery in the New Bedford/Fall River area!)
