i tried to purchase just a short stem for my regal vise and the woman on the phone laughed at me, they said i could buy the stem and the bronze base for 115$ plus shipping.. all i need is the short stem.. i have a base already and don't want to cut the stem i have wiht my c clamp..

willing to pay reasonable price ... and also willing to add some flys into the mix..

unless someone wants to swap a pedistal version of the regal or hmh for

a norvise with the mounting board..

i am open to offers.. just looking for something more portable..
