Herring
I'm committed to fishing more live bait this spring and am getting an extra livewell for my boat. However, I'm not sure where I can get live herring (legally) on a consistent basis other than standing in line at the Bourne herring run.
Anyone have any suggestions as to where I can net a few? Much appreciated! ---Tight Lines! |
anybody answers this I'd be shocked

haha *sigh* the herring blues:(

Herring Blues
I guess my question has been answered. Fishermen either lie, or don't say a word! :laughs:

C'mon Sweetwater.....:tm:...lets put on the old thinking cap for a moment! Netting herring would be considered......come on....you can do it.....begins with the letterrrrr....."I"......its against the law.....the word issss...."illegal" thats right illegal to net herring anywhere! That might be why they have herring permits with certain hours and days for the runs to hand out the herring to permit holders!:smash:
Who wants to stand in line for herring???? |
Touchy subject. post something like that on the net and that will be last of your spot.
|
I sell them on the side of the road sometimes...

You're all right....What was I thinking! :smash:
However, it is legal to net herring is some places. One of which I know...but I guess I can't share it now. |

Oh, please, please, please......
|
Who wants to stand in line for a parking sticker, either?
Whobledy bobledy Later, Rick |
I'll be in line, with all the other poor souls trying to beat out the Navigator/Hummer crowd.

I hate to say this monkeys, but at one time, I didn't know where all the herrimg runs in the world were...
Ol' sweetie's just probably trying to get info... Sorry to side, Later, Sleepy Rick |
