Barometer

Colossally Stupid Question:

Where do I find barometer readings and what do they mean? I remember my fishing coach telling me something about when the barometer: this, then the fishing: that.

Its the This and That I need help with...

I had an unsucessful season last year (Of the two of us, I was the one more knowledgable...scary thought) and this year I'd like to hit the water when the fishin's good. I promised my friend at least ONE fish this year...

Some people make a big deal out of barometer movement. Rising and falling , not so much the absolute pressure. I think for stripers wind and tide and associated currents are probably better indicators.
