very perceptive notaro

Ricky splurged and bought that for my birthday about 6 years ago. The reel lasted 2 months. So I got a Bait Runner 6500 on it now. Cheap a$$ rod yeah, but it sure has held up under some pretty good pressure and has helped me land some big fish in very strong current.

rizzo 04-22-2004 10:15 AM

Nice fish! taken on the the home town favorite of course

Rappin Mikey 04-22-2004 10:21 AM

What else Rizzo? As soon as my check clears at three, I'm restocking and heading back out there. I found an absolutely pi$$er place to fish down there.

Just so you guys know... there have been fish in Narragansett for 3 weeks, holdovers. But yesterday at the bottom of the tide I got a 24" fish that had sea lice all over it. Fresh fish. You all know where.:) :) :) :)

GBOUTDOORS 04-22-2004 03:56 PM

Nice first fish but sorry river fish count even less than boat fish:eek:   and river fish from a boat are just not fish at all:D :D

Got Stripers 04-22-2004 08:09 PM

I am the king of fish that don't count, boat fish, river fish, hold over fish, man they even come under the light of day, I should be flogged. Pretty women in leather may apply via email:).

I dunno, Greg, I think you're developin' the right attitude to get yourself ready for BI in the fall -

Hey, I've gotta check the Classifieds every day to see if there's any new boats for sale named 'Jane' - :laughs: - then I'll know it's serious.

macojoe 04-22-2004 09:19 PM
