Ricky splurged and bought that for my birthday about 6 years ago. The reel lasted 2 months. So I got a Bait Runner 6500 on it now. Cheap a$$ rod yeah, but it sure has held up under some pretty good pressure and has helped me land some big fish in very strong current.

What else Rizzo? As soon as my check clears at three, I'm restocking and heading back out there. I found an absolutely pi$$er place to fish down there.

Just so you guys know... there have been fish in Narragansett for 3 weeks, holdovers. But yesterday at the bottom of the tide I got a 24" fish that had sea lice all over it. Fresh fish. You all know where.:) :) :) :)

Nice first fish but sorry river fish count even less than boat fish:eek: :eek: :eek: and river fish from a boat are just not fish at all:D :D

I am the king of fish that don't count, boat fish, river fish, hold over fish, man they even come under the light of day, I should be flogged. Pretty women in leather may apply via email:).
